[Genshin Impact] I’m tired of quests, so I’m becoming a villain

On a bright and serene morning in Mondstadt, the narrator — now in Lumine’s body — struggles to comprehend how they ended up inside the world of Genshin Impact. They had been a normal player, using the game as a break from their busy life. Over time, they began playing as a “villainous” version of Lumine, performing cruel acts against NPCs for fun.

As their real-life responsibilities grew, they decided to delete the game for good. But when they tried, strange messages began appearing — seemingly from Lumine herself. She accused the narrator of abandoning her after everything they’d done together, revealing her pain at being hated by the in-game world but clinging to the player as her only solace.

Despite trying to rationalize that Lumine is just a game character, the narrator hesitates. The phone glitches with ominous texts warning them not to delete the game. Darkness spreads around them as the device’s light fades.

When they next open their eyes, they’re no longer in their room but in Teyvat itself — inhabiting Lumine’s body, with Paimon by their side.
