Past the fountain in the park, if you slip into one of the more secluded paths, you’ll find a street forgotten by people.

They say this used to be part of a city destroyed by a monster attack long ago, now left like a ruin. Recently, rumors of terrifying creatures lurking there have spread, scaring people off even more.

Plenty of people have disappeared there, after all.

These days, only a few dare to enter — thrill-seeking students under the guise of a “test of courage,” or a handful of knights sent to investigate the rumors.

Other than that, no one steps foot inside.

It is, in every way, a place the world has forgotten.

In the dark alleys where no one comes, the only light is the moon.

I stood beneath it, letting the moonlight spill over me, eyes lifting to the sky.
